    The looms are operated manually and with foot pedals. Small imperfections that come with making cloth by hand are part of its beauty.
    Weaving has been an important industry in this region for hundreds of years. Women in Matsusaka used to craft Matsusaka cotton in the wintertime to sell. It's said the rhythm of weaving is quite meditative.
    You may find you forget about your troubles as you focus on weaving!
